About Art Wine Mikulov
We are a family-owned boutique winery specializing in small-run, limited production wines. Our vineyards in Mikulov, Hlohovec, and Valtice provide the grapes for our offerings, including Cabertin (Cabernet Sauvignon PIWI), Merlot, Pinot Noir (Clone 777), Saint Laurent, and Zweigeltrebe in reds.
In white we have Kerner, Pinot Blanc, Rhein Riesling, Welsch Riesling and Palava. We also produce a very limited annual release (100 bottles) of a Palava made in the orange technique.
We are dedicated to crafting extraordinary single-varietal, single-vineyard wines that truly reflect the unique terroir of each of our vineyards. Our commitment to small lots allows for meticulous quality control at every step, ensuring every bottle is made to perfection.
En Plein Air: Mikulov or Vineyard Painting Classes with Kateřina Rutherford.
Experience the beauty of Mikulov/Pálava en plein air (French for “in the open air”) with intimate, outdoor painting classes set either in the city of Mikulov or in the scenic vineyards below Sv. Kopecek.
Led by acclaimed artist Kateřina Rutherford, each 5-day session invites you to slow down and express your creativity while learning to paint your own landscape masterpiece—no prior experience needed.
If five days is too long, Katerina also offers 2-day classes, once-per-month Saturday classes, and weekly painting classes.

Your wines can be delivered directly to your door via Messenger (extra charges apply), and if you are visiting Mikulov, we can keep your wines in our wine cellar until you pick them up.
